About
Andrew Shpachuk
Hey, I'm Andrew — a product designer with nine years of experience across web, product and motion design.
I started back in 2016, opening Photoshop and figuring things out on my own. Most of my early work was full-cycle: I'd take a project from a blank brief through design, art direction, motion, video presentation in After Effects, WordPress development, and SEO — coordinating developers along the way and personally owning the design and direction end-to-end. For a few years I worked through freelance platforms, at one point ranking in the top 100 on Freelancehunt, which taught me how to talk to clients, scope work, manage expectations and deliver projects that actually shipped.
Around the same time I started collaborating with FrontVisual, a 3D real estate visualisation studio, covering design and web implementation for residential development sites — Fayna Town, Concordia, New Avtograf, Rusanivska Gavan and others. That work taught me to design for real stakes: every site had a launch date, a marketing campaign behind it, and a sales team waiting on the other end.
Later I moved to Upwork, earned Top Rated status, and joined Fulcrum Rocks, where I worked on UI and animation across a mix of products — Kör (a driving school app for the Norwegian market), the BUFF gaming platform, Plannly and others. After that I spent four years working remotely with a Miami-based agency as the sole in-house designer, running the full spectrum solo: web, landing pages, UI/UX for SaaS dashboards, mobile apps, banners, animations, emails, Lottie/JSON, video presentations and brand work. Long-running, ongoing engagements have been the norm for most of my career — I'm comfortable embedded in a team for years, not just shipping one-offs.
Alongside full-time work I've kept taking on parallel contracts — ISINA Music among them — across B2B SaaS, fintech, EdTech and consumer products.
I genuinely understand the full product cycle. Research and flows. Wireframes and prototypes — both Figma-based and high-fidelity interactive ones for stakeholder presentations and user testing. Design systems and component libraries that scale. Motion design and Lottie exports. Brand and identity work when a project needs it. Pitch decks and video presentations to win client buy-in before development starts. WordPress development and dev handoff for engineers when the project ships. I've owned every stage of this, often all at once.
My toolkit is Figma, Framer, Tailwind, Lottie, After Effects and Storybook, with AI woven into the daily workflow. I also work with a development partner — a WordPress developer I've shipped real projects with (auctionsapi.com, zvelta.com, atolldigital.com, spafax.com, skyron.ua) — so on the right projects I can deliver design and production-ready development as a team.
Currently open to new product roles and freelance collaborations. Remote-first, available up to 40 hours a week, comfortable across European and US timezones.
